First time doing this - how much should I budget for both rooms?

My wife and I have been talking about this for what feels like forever, and we finally decided to just go for it and tackle both the kitchen and the main bathroom at the same time. I know some people think we're nuts for doing it all at once, but honestly, I'd rather have one chaotic period than drag this out over two separate years. The kitchen is from the 80s with these awful yellow cabinets and a stove that takes forever to heat up, and the bathroom has this pink tile that I'm pretty sure was trendy in the 90s but now just looks like a pepto bismol explosion. We've been saving up and setting aside money every month, but I have absolutely no clue what a realistic budget looks like for a dual project of this scale. Every time I try to look stuff up online, I get numbers all over the place and it's honestly confusing. I just want a ballpark so I know if I'm in the right zip code financially before I start reaching out to companies. If anyone here has done both rooms together, what did you end up spending and were there any hidden costs that caught you off guard? I've been browsing around and checking out some bathroom and kitchen renovation services, but I don't want to waste anyone's time if I'm way off on what things actually cost. Really just looking for some honest numbers from people who've been through it already so I can set realistic expectations.
