I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now because my Audi Q7 has developed this really annoying knocking sound from the front suspension whenever I go over even the smallest bump, and it's been getting progressively worse over the last couple of weeks. I've already had one garage take a look and they told me it's probably the control arm bushings, but they wanted to keep the car for three days just to diagnose it properly, which seems excessive to me. The thing is, I live in Al Barsha and I've noticed this suspension repair garage in Al Barsha that seems to specialize in European cars, but I've never actually spoken to anyone who's used them before so I'm a bit hesitant to just drop my car off without knowing what I'm getting into. I drove past the other day and it looked like they had a few Audis and BMWs parked outside, which is usually a good sign, but appearances can be deceiving and I've been burned before by places that looked professional but ended up doing shoddy work. Has anyone here actually had any suspension work done by them, specifically on an Audi or VW product? I'm really hoping to find somewhere that can properly diagnose the issue without trying to upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary work, and ideally somewhere that can get the job done within a day or two because I really can't be without my car for too long with work commitments. I'd rather pay a bit more for quality work and proper parts than go for the cheapest option and end up with the same problem coming back in a few months. Any honest feedback, good or bad, would be really helpful before I make a decision on where to take my car.
