So I finally picked up a pre-owned Velar a couple of weeks ago and honestly I'm absolutely loving it, the design is just stunning and it drives like a dream compared to my old car. But now that the excitement is settling down a bit, I'm starting to think about the practical side of things like servicing and maintenance because I know these cars aren't exactly cheap to run and they need proper care from people who actually understand them. I'm not really sure what to look for when it comes to choosing a garage for a car like this because my previous cars were all Japanese and I never had to worry about specialists or anything like that. The Velar is a 2019 model with about 50,000 km on it so it's still relatively new but I want to stay on top of the maintenance and make sure I'm not missing anything that could become a bigger issue later on. I'm based in Abu Dhabi so ideally I'd like somewhere reasonably close rather than having to drive all the way to Dubai or something every time it needs attention. If anyone has recommendations for workshops that really know their way around these cars I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences because I feel a bit out of my depth with this whole luxury car ownership thing honestly.
